About the Activity
This tour is for 18-to-35 year old backpackers, international students and young travellers looking for an adventure seeing the sights but also meeting other like-minded travellers exploring the world just like them. On this tour, we drive the road in the opposite direction, starting from the south-west coast and working back, allowing us to avoid the crowds from other tour buses, getting the boring part of the drive out of the way first and saving the best of the Great Ocean Road for last. A two-day tour means we can take our time along the way, so that you will never feel rushed. The only timeline we have is to ensure we arrive on time at the Twelve Apostles for sunset.48 hours

- DAY 1
-Leave Melbourne between 7 and 8am
-Go to Logan's Beach to see whales in winter
- Tower Hill, a sunken volcano, home to kangaroos, wallabies emus and koalas
- Visit Bay of Islands, Bay of Martyrs, The Grotto and London Bridge (plenty of time for a swim in summer)
- Hit the 12 Apostles for an amazing sunset experience
- See Little Penguins arrive home from their days fishing
- Awesome free BBQ feast
- Stay overnight at Port Campbell Hostel, Australia's only hostel with an onsite brewery!
DAY 2
- See Loch Ard Gorge when nobody else is around. So much better.
- Walk along the beach at Gibson's Steps
-2nd visit to the 12 Apostles for the keen photographers
- Rainforest walk at Maits rest
-Lunch at Apollo Bay (swim time in summer)
- Afternoon spent cruising the original part of the Great Ocean Road, the world's most beautiful coastal drive. Stopping at loads of lookouts, Round the Twist Lighthouse, Bells Beach for surfing and many other surprises.
- Arrive back in Melbourne around 7pm
