About the Activity

Andechs is a favorite of locals for good reason. With views of the Alps, a fine Baroque church and a bustling beer hall serving up some of the finest Bavarian dishes anywhere, it's easy to see why. The monk's home-brewed beer is world renowned and there's no better place to drink it than onsite. Hike back via beautiful Lake Ammersee and stop at the scenic lakeside Biergarten for one last beer. Join Beer Hiking Bavaria author as he takes you along the Way of St. James en route to the hilltop Andechs monastery. Note that this is a private tour and can be tailored to your group's needs.
