In the early morning we pick you at your accomodation in Maun or Ghanzi or Gweta and in a 4x4 safari vehicle we head to CKGR where the camp is set up in the Deception Valley. During and shortly after good summer rains (September to January), the flat grasslands of the reserve’s northern reaches teem with wildlife, which gather at the best grazing areas. These include springbok and gemsbok, as well as wildebeest, hartebeest, eland and giraffe.
At other times of the year, when the animals are more sparsely distributed, the experience of travelling through truly untouched wilderness, of seemingly unending dimensions, is amazing.
Upon arrival in the Kalahari you start your gameviewing on your transfer game drive with a picnic lunch in the bush. Enjoy the sunset within the Deception Valley. Upon arrival to the camp, you enjoy a hot camp shower before dinner. Afterwards you can relax around the campfire.12 hours • Admission Ticket IncludedView Location
