Bioluminescence is visible year-round.
Depending on the season of your visit, we will recommend visiting Los Arcos Park before sunrise or before sunset for a better appreciation of Bioluminescence.
We will row out from our beach club in Mismaloya and explore the Los Arcos marine park to observe marine life, birds, sunset or sunrise and Bioluminescence, and then row back to our beach club where we will have some amenities for you. The route is about 4 kilometers paddling approximately.
It is possible to go swimming and snorkeling during this activity.

Mismaloya beach is located 11km south from the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta.
Just after the Barcelo hotel before crossing the river, you will find a street that will take you to the beach.
If you are looking at the sea in front of you, you will have to walk to the end of the beach on the left side.View Location
