Ruta Provincial 61, Zona llamada La Unión, Junin de los Andes, Argentina, 1416Starting from San Martin de los Andes, we visit the city of Junín de los Andes and the church of Laura Vicuña.
Later and changing the route, we arrive at the mouth of the Chimehuín River, a famous place among fishermen from all over the world that is born in Huechulafquen Lake, which will have the incredible presence of the Lanín Volcano throughout the rest of the tour. Further on and bordering the Lake, we leave the steppe area to go deep into the Andean-Patagonian forest. We will then stop for lunch in a typical field restaurant attended by people from the Mapuche community. After a few hours, we will continue traveling continuing along route 61 until we reach the paradisiacal Lake Paimún next to the Lake Chapel in a pure forest of ancient araucarias, at the foot of the Lanín Volcano.View LocationVolcan Lanin(Pass By)
