St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church
Princess Haya St., , Madaba, Jordan, 17110This Church is a Latin Catholic Church, it is the oldest church which the religious rituals still held in it since it was built until this now non stop.
Contains numerous paintings, frescoes and sculptures depicting the life of John the Baptist ( Yahya ). It also contains an acropolis consisting of ancient basements and an old Moabi well and several ancient monuments under the church, which were once used as a temple, a school and a home for the priest. The church also follows the Latin school. The monastery visitor center contains a replica of a Byzantine mosaic floor found in Umm al-Rasas.

Mount Nebo
Madaba, JordanMount Nebo is an elevated ridge of the Abarim in Jordan, approximately 710 metres (2,330 ft) above sea level. It is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land. The view from the summit provides a panorama of the land and, to the north, a more limited one of the valley of the Jordan river.
