About the Activity
Namha Villages Experience is a 2-day hike through the forest to the villages inside the National Park of Northern Laos. We will start walking through a beautiful bamboo forest and learn how the locals use the goods from the forest to feed themselves. You will experience either a homestay with the local families or lodging alongside the tranquil riverbank, where you can have a swim in a clear river. You will walk along the mountain valley to visit different hill tribes and villages and to witness local people’s lifestyle.2 days

Nam Ha NPA
Luang Namtha, LaosNamha Villages Experience will start with a half an hour drive by minivan to the beginning point of the hike. The first part of the hike is up the hill for an hour among the secondary forest. Soon we descend down to the stream and entering the primary forest, where you will see a lot of big old trees, some of them are a few hundred years old. You will continue trekking up some down trails before stopping for a fantastic local lunch. After lunch, we will hike for about an hour or two until we reach the village by mid of afternoon. For the rest of day, you can play with the local children, walk around the village or collect some wild vegetables with the local people for a dinner. This is an opportunity to interact with the local people in the village, to go fishing with them or to enjoy a cool swim in the clear water of the Namha river. You will enjoy a locally prepared delicious dinner and then relax by the campfire at night before going to bed.6 hours • Admission Ticket IncludedAccommodation
