During the trip to Sintra, learn about the history and culture of Portugal from your guide and decide if you want to visit just one or several monuments as you explore the center of Sintra.
The lunch, or just a snack, can be in Sintra or in Cascais. It's up to you.

Cascais, PortugalArriving in Cascais you can stroll through the village center where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafés. And you will also go see to the famous Hell's Mouth - a perfect spot to take pictures.

Lisbon, PortugalIn Lisbon, there are plenty of things to see and do. Again, it will be your option.
In the Belem neighborhood, there's the Monastery of Jerónimos (a masterpiece from the XVI century), the Standard of Discoveries, and the view to the river Tejo.
In the city center, you can walk by Augusta street and Rossio Square or go to the top of the Triumph Arch in Commercium square.
There are also the typical old neighborhoods of Bairro Alto or Alfama (with the Cathedral, Saint Anthony Church and the amazing viewpoint of Portas do Sol), where Fado music came from.
