About the Activity
Meet the Makers tour allows guests to visit and sample some of our locally made products in Apia. A visit to the local markets will give visitors an insight into the backbone of our local farmers produce and source of earning an income to support their families. A visit to Samoa's local chocolate making factory producing one of Samoa's premium chocolates which is sold around the region/world. Guests will also be treated to an experience of elei (printing) making which incorporates the traditional designs into beautiful lavalava's (sarongs) dresses and formal shirts for men. A visit to the Aleisa Coffee plantation will give you an opportunity to taste and see how a local coffee producer makes quality beans and coffee. This tour guarantees and immersion into an experience of some of our local vendors and how they are supporting families and communities through the products they manufacture.4 hours to 6 hours
