This 3-days Murchison Falls Safari offers gratifying experiences of the Nile River and the wildlife in Murchison Falls National Park. This wildlife safari starts and ends in Kampala. You will pass by Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you can see rhinos in the wild on you way to Murchison Falls National Park. In Murchison Falls, you will explore the park’s wild savannah, Murchison Falls and the Nile River. You will see many animals including lions, leopards, crocodiles, elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, antelopes and hundreds of bird species. You get to see the Nile squeeze through a 7 – 8 meter wide gorge plunging with a thundering roar into the “Devil’s Cauldron” creating a trademark rainbow and forming Murchison Falls. The Nile itself hosts one of Africa’s densest hippo and crocodile populations & a dazzling variety of water birds including the world’s most accessible wild population of the rare shoe-bill.3 days

Murchison Falls
Paraa, Masindi, UgandaThis safari starts with our driver/guide picking you up from your residence/hotel in Kampala or Entebbe early in the morning. You will then go on a panoramic drive (approx. 8-9hrs) northwest through Luwero and Masindi town. Branch off for a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided Rhino walk and picnic lunch.
Continue to the spectacular site at the top of the falls where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected. Marvel at the Nile, compressing from up to 1 km squeeze through a 7-meter canyon dropping 45 meters with a thunderous roar creating a beautiful rainbow, a plume of spray, and the best thing that happened to the Nile, “the Murchison Falls”.
Enjoy the sunset as you return to the lodge.
