Today you will enjoy an adventurous full-day safari at Wilpaththu National Park including breakfast and lunch at the Park. This is the largest national park in Sri Lanka. This Park is well worth as a standalone attraction as it records the second-highest leopard density in Sri Lanka, after Yala. It also admits a fewer number of visitors, which sets it in stark contrast to Yala National Park, which tends to get overcrowded. 04.00 AM - You will be picked up by our driver and taken to Wilpaththu National Park. 07.00 AM - Before starting your safari, you will be able to enjoy your packed breakfast near the Wilpattu National Park. After breakfast, you will start the first half of your safari. The leopards at Park are elusive, yet the high density makes spotting leopards at Wilpaththu easier. The unique “Villu” lake ecosystem inside national park provide a perfect setting for seeing these beautiful creatures up close in their natural habitat. 01.00 PM - Enjoy lunch at the park. 02.00 PM - Now you will start the second half of your full-day safari. The park is also a haven for aquatic sea birds as its western boundary is the Indian Ocean.
