Ta Phin Village
Sapa, VietnamYour tour begins early, your guide picking you up at 9:00 AM from your hotel in Sapa. Heading north, you’re bound for the terraced rice fields carved directly into the lush mountains. As you amble through the valley, your guide will tell of the centuries-long history of the Hmong people who have been utilizing this traditional approach to farming for over 300 years. If you’re interested, you can even try your hand at harvesting some rice with a group of local farmers to get a real taste of local life.
After dining on Hmong specialties at a popular local restaurant, you’ll head to the Ta Phin Valley to explore a village inhabited by the Red Dao people, famous for their intricate and handcrafted traditional clothing.
