See and experience 'Pohutu' geyser the largest active geyser in the Southern Hemisphere in action rumbling away as it erupts boiling water and steam up to 100 feet. An awesome sight. See & smell boiling mud pools, hot water pools, steam vents, a steaming volcanic landscape. Polynesian Hot Mineral Spa Pools - Rotorua. One hour of relaxation as you enjoy the several hot mineral pools with varying temperatures up to 43 degrees. A wonderful way to finish your busy day before we explore downtown Rotorua, the beautiful parklike Government gardens and lakefront - as we drive back to Tauranga via steep gorges and spectacular country. Plenty to see and do on this tour.
