Embark on a small-group, 3-hour whale watching and wildlife sightseeing tour from Hoonah, Alaska. Every season humpback whales come in large numbers to Hoonah to feed on the nutrient-rich waters of Glacier Bay and Icy Strait before migrating south again for the winter. The whale population begins to arrive in Hoonah in May, and stays through September.3 hours

You will be picked up at the Icy Strait Point Excursions Hub , then driven into Hoonah where you will board your whale watch boat. Then off you go to view Alaska's beautiful scenery and wildlife. You will see humpback whales, you may see Orca's, Seals, Sea Lions, Sea Otters and a large amount of birds. Afterwards you can choose to stay in town for a bit or head back. We have shuttles that run every 30 minutes from the Hoonah Travel Adventures Transportation Hub. View Location

Tour operator will pick up all customers from their respective locations- Travelers CANNOT choose a custom pickup or meeting location.
- PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR TOUR IS SCHEDULED TO DEPART, OUT OF COURTESY TO OTHERS WE LEAVE ON TIME. If your ship is docked at the Adventure Dock, proceed ashore to the Icy Strait Point Adventure Center. Once inside the Adventure Center walk through the building and exit through door number"2". (This is clearly marked above the door.) Once outside, follow the signs along the gravel path to the Excursion Hub (451ft). The total walking time from the ship is 10 minutes, please allow extra time if you are not a fast walker. We ask that you check in 15 minutes early and we leave on time. If your ship is docked at the Wilderness Dock, walk up the dock and to the right. Ride the Green Transporter Gondola(4 minute ride) to the Adventure Landing. Exit the Gondola and go left, follow the signs to the Excursion Hub (451ft). Please check in with the Hoonah Travel Adventure Representative when you arrive at the Hub! If you are arriving via AK Seaplanes or AK Marine Highway please call us before your trip to make other arrangements.

No redemption point. This is a direct entry ticketPlease arrive 15 minutes before your tour is scheduled to depart, out of courtesy to others we leave on time. If your ship is docked at the Adventure Dock, proceed ashore to the Icy Strait Point Adventure Center. Once inside the Adventure Center walk through the building and EXIT through door number "2". (This is clearly marked.) Follow the signs to the Excursion Hub. The total walking time is 15 minutes, please allow extra time if you are not a fast walker. If your ship is docked at the Wilderness Dock this is a 40 minute walk, or you may ride the Transporter Gondola. (3 minute ride) to the Adventure Center. If you walk, once your arrive at the Adventure Center follow signs to the Excursion Hub. If you take the Gondola, once you step off of the Gondola you should see a sign for the Excursion Hub. Take a left and follow path to the Excursion Hub. Please check in with the Hoonah Travel Representative when you arrive at the Hub! If you are arriving via AK Seaplanes or AK Marine Highway please call 907-321-3393 before your trip to make other arrangements. • Minimum numbers apply. Cancellable up to 24 hours before the travel date (local supplier time) for a full refund. A 100% cancellation penalty applies for cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the start time.- For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
- Suplier may cancel the activity on account of bad weather conditions.
- Suplier may cancel the activity due to too few participants.
- Cancel at least 1 day before activity starts in America/Juneau time to receive 100% refund.
