There are many rare animals in the Yaeyama Islands, and "Yaeyama Himebotaru" is one of them.
The activity starts gradually at dusk, and by the time it gets dark, countless Yaeyama Himebotaru illuminate and dance in the forest. The scene is like natural illumination.
Yaeyama Himebotaru is famous as the smallest firefly in Japan, but its light has been gentle and powerful and has attracted many people.
Since you only work at dusk, you have only about an hour of chance to meet each day. Let's go take a peek into the fantastic world! !
