The Everest Base Camp Trek has a numbers of stunning attractions, it also has some distinct drawbacks which might well deter potential trekkers were is not for the undeniable plus point of being able to say you have been to the highest mountain in the world. the attraction include spectacular scenery and the outgoing Sherpa people of the solu khumbu, the drawbacks include the region. its not until you get right in to the solu khumbu region that the everest trek really gets intresting.the first part of thentrek is not only a hard slog,bit is also pretty aparse in the breath trekking views department ,the hard slog comes about because the trek doesn’t follow valley like the Annapurna treks instead the everest treks cuts across the valley so for day after day it’s a tiring process of droping down one side of a steep valley and climbing up again in the other by the ttime you reach the base camp you r ascents will total almost 9000 meters, the full height of everest from sea level!13 days
