Canadian Rockies Hiking Adventure in Kananaskis Provincial Park
Things to know
About the Activity
Your professionally guided hiking adventure will begin at at a convenient location where we will review our plan for the day and sign the liability waiver. From there, we will drive approximately 1 hour to the trailhead. We will set off on our adventure at a comfortable/relaxed pace, hike for a 1-2 hours, with breaks for water or a snack and then stop for lunch at a meadow full of beautiful wildflowers, a mountain ridge with an awe-inspiring view, or at a majestic alpine lake. On this trip, there will be plenty of time to relax, take photos and explore the area. As a certified interpretive guide, I will teach you about the natural and cultural history of the area, as well as the local flora and fauna. When we are ready, we will make our way back to the trailhead and then back to where we started. The trail will range from between 5 - 10 km (3 - 6 miles) with an approximate elevation gain of 300 - 500 meters (1000 - 1600 feet). This unique adventure will leave you wanting more.5 hours

Travel Itinerary
- Exclusive to travelers from this booking.
We literally have hundreds of trails at our disposal in the Canadian Rocky Mountains in either Banff National Park or Kananaskis Provincial Park. I will customize this tour based on your interests and abilities and will confirm the trail location prior to departure. I pride myself in trying to find trails that are less busy. That being said, itineraries may vary depending on the time of year and location (Please note, tours may be cancelled due to inclement weather, road conditions, or animal advisories. I will do my best to find a viable alternative destination). This adventure is suitable for families as long as all family members are able to hike on a moderate trail with distances between 5 - 10 km (3 - 6 miles) with an approximate elevation gain of 300 - 500 metres (1000 - 1600 feet) for 2 - 3 hours in duration in one direction. Also, I will send out a recommended clothing, equipment and gear list prior to our trip.View Location
