Travel Itinerary
Horseback riding through the Estancia 25 de Mayo Nature Reserve, where you can feel the vastness of the Patagonian fields, discovering canyons, streams and stories of the southern gauchos, enjoying a camping lunch in the Cave of the stream. The starting point is the hull of Estancia 25 de Mayo, where we will give a brief technical talk, and after equipping ourselves with helmets and gaiters, we will leave from the pens to the south, crossing the Canyon of Calafate Creek. On our way we will cross streams and geological formations that evidence the passage of millions of years. The canyon that these rocks form repairs us from the characteristic winds of the region, while we gain height on our route. After an hour and a half of riding we arrive at the Cave of the stream, where the gauchos in charge of the crossing prepare us a rich camper lunch. To complete the experience, we are offered a toast with wine, and then return to the helmet of Estancia 25 de Mayo. The activity requires intermediate experience.
