About the Activity
This is our most popular sightseeing tour and a great way to see the "best of Portsmouth and New Castle Island". You will leave the busy Market Square and embark on a journey by bike. You will pedal to Portsmouth's Piscataqua river and harbor. Your guide will bring you to Four Tree and Pierce Islands in the harbor and an ideal escape from the lively city. You will pedal through picturesque gardens and lush parks as you make your way to the charming town of New Castle by the sea. You will make your way through this idyllic New England town, with old preserved 18th century homes and be greeted by the Atlantic Ocean where the lighthouses have guided ships for centuries. Save go direct. On your journey, your guide will share fascinating stories about the areas you visit including the naval shipyard, and the transformation of a neglected waterfront into a stunning waterfront park.
