Good morning! The "Café nos Lençóis Maranhenses" tour is one of the most popular tour options in the Lençóis Maranhenses region, and usually starts very early in the morning, around 3:30 am.
Clients will be picked up from their hotels or inns by a local guide specialized in tourism in the region. Then, you will be taken by car to the entrance of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, where you will begin the hike to the dunes. Along the way, the guide will introduce you to the local fauna, flora and culture.
Upon arriving at the dunes, customers will have a typical breakfast of the region, with tapioca, couscous and freshly prepared coffee. After breakfast, the group will continue the walk, passing by several crystalline and paradisiacal lagoons, where clients will be able to cool off and take incredible pictures.
During the tour, the guide will explain about the formation of the dunes and lagoons, the importance of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park and how the life of the local residents is. The tour usually lasts an average of 4 hours, depending on the pace of the group and weather conditions.
