You will hop on a bike and cycle through the quiet park Plac Andersa, where your Private Guide will show you a couple of interesting monuments, such as Jan Czekanowski’s Bench. Further on you will find the beautiful neo-Gothic Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Church of St Wojciech. Another important landmark will be the most important church in the city, the Archcathedral Basilica of St James the Apostle. At the White Eagle Square you will see the Fountain, Ionic Palace, Palace “Under the globe”, and the Academy of Arts. The route will continue along the Chrobry Embankment, which features several important landmarks such as the Maritime Academy, the National Museum, and the Chrobry Embankment Fountain. Learn more about the city and see more sights. The extended route includes cycling from the Solidarity Square through the forested Zheromsky Park to the Polish Theater. You will then continue along the Chrobry Embankment to the Market Square, and go further along the Oder riverbank to the scenic spot known as Szczecin’s Venice to admire the old, abandoned warehouses. You will cycle through the lively city center, past the Grunwaldzki Square and the University of Szczecin to the magnificent City Hall. Behind it is a scenic park with spacious lawns that are visited by hundreds of locals on a sunny day. Explore the park and see the Memorial of the Pole’s Feat.
