Puerto Maldonado, PeruOur journey commences with a warm airport welcome, leading to a scenic drive and a tranquil 15-minute boat ride upstream on the Tambopata River, bringing travelers to the Lodge. A brief orientation by our guide covers hotel policies, followed by a rejuvenating lunch and a two-hour guided walk through the tropical forest, unveiling medicinal plants and ancient trees like the Brazil nut, CHACRUNA, and AYAHUASCA.
The adventure continues with a visit to the 45-meter-high bird-watching tower, providing wildlife sightings. Return to the Lodge by sunset and embark on nocturnal activities along the Tambopata River, seeking caimans, owls, and the elusive Capybara.
