Want to take your kids fishing, but don’t know where to start? New to the Washington, DC area and want to see what fishing we have to offer? In town for a work trip and you’ve got a free day to wet a line? Want a stress-free day on the water away from the daily grind? I’m Captain Rich, and I want to take you fishing. My goal is to provide an affordable fishing excursion that helps both new and experienced anglers discover the joy of fishing in the local area. Fishing is an opportunity for you to bond with your family–when you take your son or daughter fishing you are away from the distractions of life. Fishing with your kids is a great opportunity to connect with them and really spend quality time. If you don’t know how to fish, but want to learn how so you can start building that quality time with your kids, I want to help you. On our trips, I want you to learn something new, catch some fish, and walk away with a great experience that you can share with your family.8 hours

- Exclusive to travelers from this booking.
We'll go freshwater river fishing for largemouth, catfish, striper, or shad on the Occoquan River in the Spring and Summer. Or we can fish for smallmouth on the Upper Potomac in the Summer and Fall, river levels permitting. All trips are 8 hours for a full day, or 4 hours for a half day. We'll fish from a 20' Rock Proof Boats inboard jet, which runs in about 8 inches of water. All equipment is provided. You only need your own food and beverage for the day, and your own fishing license.View Location

Customers must make their own way to and meet at the start point- Travelers CANNOT choose a custom pickup or meeting location.

- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- This charter allows participants aged 7 years old and above.
- Bananas and banana products are not permitted on board.
- Please notify Captain of any allergies to peanuts or bees.
- Please use long sleeves / pants for sun protection instead of scented sunscreens.
