A private RIB safari tour to the beautiful Maurangsfjord with steep mountain sides surrounded by Folgefonna. From Rosendal via Ænes before driving into the Maurangsfjorden. This sidefjord is a magically beautiful arm of the fjord that has attracted tourists for hundreds of years. After visiting Furebergsfossen we arrive at Sundal with a view of Bondhusbreen. Return out of the fjord again and back to Rosendal via the island of Sild. Join us on an adrenaline-filled RIB trip - the fastest boat trip you can get! Your driver and guide will stop a few times to let the unique nature work its magic and to provide interesting facts about the fjord and the people who used to live on the fjord farms. With a little luck, even porpoises appear in the water. There are several stops near land along the way to experience nature and life along the fjord. Maurangsfjorden is a fjord in Kvinnherad Municipality. The 12-kilometre (7.5 mi) long fjord is a small branch off of the main Hardangerfjord. The inner end of the Maurangsfjorden branches into the Nordrepollen and Austrepollen. There are several villages located along the fjord: Ænes, Sundal, Austrepollen, Nordrepollen, and Gjetingsdalen.
