- More than just a cooking class, it’s an immersive experience filled with connections to local people and the rich history of old Taipei. - BeMyGuest Taipei Cooking Class is located on Dihua Street, Dadaocheng, a historic commercial city center of Taipei. - All Cooking Classes include a local Dadaocheng street and market adventure. - You won’t just work with ready-made ingredients; instead, you’ll uncover the stories behind Taiwanese cuisine and begin your culinary journey with raw, authentic ingredients. For example, instead of using pre-made noodles, you’ll create them from scratch, starting with flour. - A maximum 6 small classes, no shortcuts, and no ready-made meals, - The owner Alex is friendly and kind. 【A Journey through Dadaocheng and Traditional Markets】
Alex will share your local stories throughout the alleys of Dadaocheng. And then in the traditional market, you'll also have the opportunity to taste authentic traditional delicacies and know local ingredients.
Sometimes, you might want to chat with the vendor owners. Why not?
We call it the Taiwanese experience.
After the walking tour, we will go to our cooking school to cook Taiwanese cuisine.
