Travel Itinerary
Join us for a unique half-day birdwatching experience, designed to maximize the number of species we can observe during a 4-hour morning walk through Monteverde’s lush cloud forest. We will meet at Stella’s Bakery, where, as a group and based on recent reports from fellow guides, we will decide on the best birding spots for the day.
Once the decision is made, George will jump into action right away, starting the birding session in the surroundings of Stella’s Bakery, since most parks open at 7:00 am. Even before heading to our main locations, we will have the chance to spot several species in this area.
During the tour, we will explore strategic trails in search of iconic species such as the Resplendent Quetzal, the Three-wattled Bellbird, and a variety of hummingbirds, flycatchers, and endemic birds of Monteverde.
This expedition is perfect for beginners, experienced birdwatchers, and nature photographers alike. Every tour is different, adapting to the latest bird reports and the group’s dynamic, ensuring the best chances to see and learn about Monteverde’s incredible birdlife.
