About the Activity
The excursion starts early in the morning at your Hotel, we start on the south coast, visiting Vila Franca do Campo and its Historic center, we go up to the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Paz (built in 1764) where you can see a panoramic view over the village, in this locality you can find the famous Queijadas of the village. we continue south towards the magnificent village of Furnas where you can visit and bathe in the lush thermal waters. We continue to Lagoa das Furnas where we will visit Lagoa, a place surrounded by fumaroles and boilers. A magical place is in this same place that we will see the famous Cozido, which is found in holes of about one meter, after having lunch and then visiting the Boilers and mineral waters where you can taste each one. The return route is made by the North, visiting the peak of the iron where you can see a view of the lagoon and the furnas at an altitude of 600m, then we stop at Fabrica do Chá, tasting the magnificent São Miguel tea.8 hours

Miradouro do Pico do Ferro
Located at the top of Pico do Ferro, Furnas, PortugalThis viewpoint is at an altitude of around 570 meters, at the elevation of Pico do Ferro. It offers an immense view over the vast volcanic crater of Vale das Furnas, Lagoa das Furnas stands out to the right of the viewpoint and the valley opens to the left.
