3 or 4-Day All Inclusive Napo Amazon Adventure with Accommodation in Eco Lodge
Things to know
About the Activity
Napo is an Ecuadorian province, located at the eastern side of the country. Its capital is Tena. The province contains the majestic Napo River, which is one of the main affluents of the Amazonas. The thick rainforest is home to many natives that remain isolated by preference: descendants of those who avoid the Spanish invasion in the Andes and the Inca’s years before. Tena, the capital, is known as the Cinnamon capital of Ecuador, originally founded by missionary explorers and is located at 420m above sea level with a temperature between 25˚C and 32˚C (77˚F – 89˚F). Tena is famous for the rainforest and the rivers that surround it. It has some of the best rafting and kayaking activities in Ecuador. The lodge of this program is located 20 minutes away by public or private transportation from Tena city, making it very easy to access and it is on the banks of the huge Napo river.4 days

Your Amazon Adventure starts today. After lunch, you will wear your rubber boots and go hiking with our native guide. He will share traditional knowledge of local medicinal plants such as dragon’s blood, ginger, guayusa, and straw used for instruments, costumes and construction for the development of the community. You can swing on vines like Tarzan and take a photograph at The Great Ceibo, the Giant Amazonian tree. We will then return to the lodge to get bathsuits, towels, lifejackets and inner tubes for our late afternoon Tubing in the Pusuno River. We return to have dinner, and your guide will explain the next day’s activities.6 hours • Admission Ticket IncludedView Location
