2. Start Paddling! A 100m stroll from the shop takes you to the river. Paddle along the calm waters and enjoy views of Ferragudo's fishing village, the historic Forte de São João do Arade, golden cliffs, and secluded beaches.
DISTANCE
Approx. 3km route from Ferragudo Village view, the castle, small caves, and secret beaches.
DURATION
At a low pace, it takes about 1 hour to complete the route, but you have 4 hours (half-day) or 8 hours (full-day) to explore the river. Stop at peaceful beaches for a picnic or snorkeling.
