About the Activity

Your tour is your tour only! No mixed groups! Purely a private tour. You get to have your own dedicated Driver/Guide and 'Memory Creator' for your entire tour. Enjoy a 7-hour private tour from Wellington to the South Wairarapa covering majestic scenery, visits to Gladstone and Martinborough Wineries including a spectacular platter lunch at one of the wineries we visit. We also visit the beautiful town of Martinborough well recognised for the 'Capital' of Pinot Noir of the North Island. We visit up to 4 wineries including lunch at a winery. Your tour also includes a private tour at one of the wineries visited covering the winery, vineyard and tastings. If you have any particular winery you wish to visit this can be arranged in advance. Please note this tour is only available for 18 years of age and older.

  • Travelers can choose a custom pickup or meeting location.
  • CRUISE PASSENGERS - Please note the following important information: Pick up Wellington cruise port: We will meet you on the Port at the Independent Tour Operators Pick Up Point. Please note the Port has no shelter or facilities available this season so we recommend waiting until the first rush of visitors has gone through. In the case of bad weather, it will also make your disembarkation more pleasant. DO NOT catch the bus to the Wellington i-SITE. Stay at the port. Disembarkation Directions: • When you disembark, please walk past the buses to the Independent Tour Operators Pick Up Point. There will be people to direct you. • Your Kaewa Tours Guide will be there holding a sign with your name on it. • Your Kaewa Tours Guide will be wearing an orange or a yellow high vis’ vest. Wellington Railway Station: Pick-ups are from outside the front entrance on Bunny Street.
  • Travelers will be picked up 15 minutes before departure time
