About the Activity
Yakushima is a world-famous "sea turtle island". This is Snorkeling tour with the main purpose of meeting sea turtles and swim with them! Yakushima is an important nesting site for both the endangered loggerhead and green turtles. (In particular, the main North Pacific nesting site for the loggerhead turtle.) Both turtles visit Yakushima to nest on its beaches, so a visit to the island has plenty of opportunities for turtle-watching. Please spend a relaxing time with the sea turtles in the sea of Yakushima! Let's swim with sea turtles!! Note: This isn't a tour which guarantee to meet sea turtles. Please understand that it is not possible to meet 100% because sea turtles are also wild animals in the natural environment.3 hours

Our experienced instructors will carefully explain the basics of snorkeling on land, and guide you safely at the sea.
Briefing on the basics of snorkeling is made in Japanese. English one should be requested in advance when booking if needed.

Pickup details
Tour operator will pick up all customers from their respective locations; or, customers can make their own way to the start point- Travelers can choose a custom pickup or meeting location.
- If you request transfer service, please choose it and a pick-up point such as hotel, airport, or port etc. Pick up route includes Isso, Miyanoura, Koseda, Anbo by clockwise You can be picked up at Yakushima airport or Miyanoura port if it is on arrival date. Please inform us of your arrival time and place when booking. Attention: pick-up time is based on start time of each activity, NOT your arrival time. When you use transfer service after an activity, the service will start after all participants finish it. So it is recommended to use your own transfer like a rental car if you are in a hurry.

- Age Limit -Available for 7 to 65 year old - If you are over 60 years old, you need to bring a doctor's certificate regardless of your health condition. - Those under the age of 13 (elementary school students) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. - If you are under 20 years old, you will need to have a parent or guardian sign the application form. A PDF application form will be sent to you when booking, so you can prepare it with a parent or guardian sign before joining the tour.
