As the Pigeon River comes out of the steeper parts of the gorge it calms down a bit. Beginning at our outpost, the Lower Section of the Pigeon River is perfect for those looking for a scenic float trip of the Smoky Mountains. Ages 3 and up. Experience is not required, and each raft will have one of our professional guides.1 hour 30 minutes

Customers must make their own way to and meet at the start point- Travelers CANNOT choose a custom pickup or meeting location.

- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

- Guests will then meet their personal guide and recieve the necessary equipment,
- Including a PFD (aka life jacket), helmet and paddle.
- After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, guests then hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride to the launching point for your trip.
- All guest must have secured shoes on, NO FLIP FLOPS / NO BARE FEET

This is a direct entry ticket• Big Creek Expeditions Rafting Outpost • Address: 3671 Hartford Road, Hartford, TN 37753 Make sure that everyone in your group has secured shoes on, NO FLIP FLOPS / NO BARE FEET! • Shortly after the check-in time, you and your group will receive a brief orientation talk that covers some of the basics of rafting. • Guests will then meet their personal guide and receive the necessary equipment, including a PFD (aka life jacket), helmet and paddle. • After your guide double-checks to make sure all equipment is fitted properly, • guests then take a short walk down to the river where their raft awaits. After the trip, guests hop on our bus for a short 10-minute ride back to our outpost.Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellable up to 24 hours before the travel date (local supplier time) for a full refund. A 100% cancellation penalty applies for cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the start time.- For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
