In addition; you’ll get stunned observing the spectacular gliding of the Andean Condor between the walls of the great Colca canyon and walking around the area. Your security is important! Our Tours are small groups with a maximum of 14 people. Qualified transport with constant mechanical inspection, oxygen bottle and first aid box. Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve
Arequipa, Peru- At the beginning of our excursion, we will enjoy the majestic views of the Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu volcanoes before approaching the Reserve of “Pampa Cañahuas” which belongs to the National Reserve of “Salinas y Aguada Blanca”, where our transportation will make several stops to observe the wild Vicuñas (one of the 4 types of American camels) in its natural habitat and nature. At this point we will be about 4,000m.
- After a considerable time to enjoy the area and take pictures, we continued the journey.
- We will take a short detour to visit the stone forest of Puruña, where we will appreciate and explore its fascinating rock formations and have great panoramic views from this side of the National Reserve.
- We return to the main road and visit a local restaurant where you can enjoy a mate de coca and a presentation of how local women work with alpaca fiber and the use of Andean plants.

Abra Patapampa
Carretera 1SE, 30 Kms south of Chivay, Chivay, Peru, 04145Continuing on the road we will pass “Tocra”, a high plain at more than 4,400 meters, where we will observe lakes and wetland with wild birds and get pictures of the “Antiplano” with its Llamas and Alpacas.
- The highest point of our tour will be “Pata Pampa” (also called the Viewpoint of the Andes) located at 4,910 meters, where we’ll observe the volcanoes Ampato, Sabancaya, Hualca-Hualca, Mismi and the “Cordillera de Chila”. 1 hour • Admission Ticket FreeView Location3
Coporaque
Coporaque, PeruWhen we are getting closer to the town of Chivay (3,651 meters) we will start gazing the spectacular multicolor view of the terraces of the Colca valley.
-Short viist to Chivay plaza and continue along the right bank of the canyon until we arrive to the traditional village of Coporaque.
-In the village we will visit the Lodge "La Casa de Mamayacchi" (free time for lunch)
- In the Lodge and with the assistance of your guide; you will enjoy some activities that the hotel offers such as learning how to prepare a typical dish or trying on some of the most traditional costumes of the Colca Valley.
-Your Guide will invite you to take a walk through Coporaque town and surroundings areas; exploring the landscape on this side of the canyon.
*This walk activity takes about 1 ½ hour and is optional, depending on how you feel about the altitude.
-Visit to thermal baths of town (On request we provided transport).

Tour operator will pick up all customers from their respective locations- Travelers can choose a custom pickup or meeting location.
- Transportation and Guide will pick up clients from their hotels between 7:15 AM and 7:45 AM. Please be ready in the hotel lobby by 7:15 AM. The maximum waiting time for clients is 5 minutes. *If your hotel is not on the list or is not near the historic center, you will need to go to the meeting point at Jerusalen 604-A by 7:15 AM.
