About the Activity
This is an outdoor and culinary trail around the 4 breweries of Kamnik, the town with the most craft breweries per capita in the world. You will taste craft beers of 4 Kamnik's microbreweries and have 3 delicious dishes, all while enjoying walking around the great outdoors of the Slovene Alpine area. You will get to look inside 1 brewery. The tour has been certified and recommended by Slovenian Tourist Board as "Slovenia Unique Experience". It is a guided tour combining stories, legends and myths of beer and freedom in Kamnik, a medieval town just below the Alps. During a hike through the town's historical center, forests, fields and along the river we see all the 4 beer ingredients and we stop to taste cca. 15 samples of local craft beer along with delicious dishes, such as burgers, pizzas and sausages. Vegetarian and vegan options are available, too.7 hours

Trg Svobode is only a few minutes walking from bus and train station. From the bus station go straight on, taking the Prešernova street and turning left after 100 m. From train station Kamnik-mesto you go towards the city centre, turn left and then take the first street right after Veronika caffee.View Location

Pickup details
Tour operator will pick up all customers from their respective locations; or, customers can make their own way to the start point- Travelers CANNOT choose a custom pickup or meeting location.
- The tour is scheduled to public transport from Ljubljana - both bus and train arrive just a few minutes walk away from the meeting point in Kamnik. We warmly suggest all guests from Ljubljana to take the public transfer which is sustainable, not expensive, comfortable, quick and allows you to enjoy tastings without needing to drive back. We give more information about public transport before arrival and can come pick our guests up at the station if requested.
