In this tour you can trek among Mount Daifuku and visit the sacred Sutra Mounds with a real Shugendo practitioner. Enjoy a delicious meal of seldom-on-the-market Kuroushi beef and local seafood. The tour stops by the Naniwa Sake Brewery established in the Edo period for some sake tasting and shopping. A private taxi will take you to each location. Trekking will be about 4hrs (9.5km).11 hours

It was established in Yamanaka-mura, Hine-gun, Izuminokuni (present-day Yamanaka-kei, Hannan City, Osaka Prefecture), at the northern foot of the Onoyama Pass. Yamanaka-kei is located at the southeastern edge of Hannan City and is mostly mountainous except for the villages around the road that runs along the Yamanaka River in the center of the area. Trekking Mount Daifuku with Shugendo practitioner (bento lunch at the mountain top)Daifuku is one of the mountains lying on the border between Osaka and Wakayama prefectures, and is known locally as the "Izumi Mountains" or "Kisen Alps.
The remains of the Daifukuyama Sutra Mound, one of the 28 lodges of the Katsuragi Shugen, are located near the summit of the mountain. The mountain is surrounded by many mountain cherry trees, so you can enjoy hiking while viewing cherry blossoms at this time of year.
