The Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
1. You will gain developed knowledge in the classroom understanding the basic principles of scuba diving.
2. You will have many Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills (Pool Skills)
3. Many Open Water Dives to refine your new skills and start exploring the waters of the ocean.

- Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended.
- All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (e.g. asthma, heart conditions, etc.) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
- Please see a 'Dive Doctor' and obtain a 'Dive Medical Examination Certificate' prior to commencing course. (Speak to instructor about our local dive doctor's details)

This is a direct entry ticket • Not recommended for pregnant women • Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions. - Medical certificate will be required if this is the case • Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. - All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Cancellable up to 24 hours before the travel date (local supplier time) for a full refund. A 100% cancellation penalty applies for cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the start time.- For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
- Suplier may cancel the activity on account of bad weather conditions.
- Cancel at least 1 day before activity starts in Australia/Brisbane time to receive 100% refund.
