Prepare yourself to get on the edge, literally, things you could do include rappelling down, ice climbing, and traversing through fixed lines. Our expert guides will teach you how to use the ropes and the technical gear. This tour can be extremely challenging or easy enough, we will adapt the difficulty according to your level. Since this is a private tour the pace of the hike through the glacier is matched to everybody's abilities and fitness. This remarkable experience will be something you will never forget.
We provide all the safety gear necessary: crampons, harnesses, helmets, ice axes, and hiking poles.
We encourage our guests to bring worn-in hiking boots, gloves, and insulating and waterproof layers. The weather is usually not working in our favor in Iceland, wind and precipitation can be expected some days.
