Things to know
About the Activity
Ben Macdui is the 2nd tallest mountain in the UK and makes for a fantastic journey across the artic-like Cairngorm plateau. Our experienced mountain leaders will guide you along a fantastic route from the Cairngorm ski centre. You will be able to see the impressive northern corries from above and below, follow the south-west edge of the Loch Avon basin and even view a plane wreckage, all this on the way to the apparently haunted Ben Macdui summit. Whether you are interested in sharing some local folklore, learning about our unique mountain flora, or you just want to bag the summit; the Ben Macdui guided hike certainly has plenty to offer. *Please note if you are booking between November - April there is a high chance that crampons and axes will be required.7 hours to 8 hours
