About the Activity
Get your adrenaline running on this 1-hour white water rafting taster session on the beautiful Tryweryn River. You will get two runs of the river in this session. Rafts of up to six people enjoy the exhilarating feeling of rafting down a 1km section of rapids! The centre is based on a dam released river. A dam release is required for rafting sessions to go ahead. In the event of low water levels a refund will be offered. You can check water levels before travelling here: https://www.nationalwhitewatercentre.co.uk/water-information Everyone must be 12 years of age and over & able to swim 25 metres. The weight limit for this activity is 18st / 115kg Important: Arrival time is half an hour in advance of your rafting timeslot.1 hour

This trip is a fantastic shorter session, consisting of two runs down our world class rapids. It provides an exciting whitewater rafting experience for those who are on a budget or are time-limited; perhaps trying to fit this in as a multi-activity day or as a quick adventure on the way into / out of Eryri (Snowdonia).
The Rapid Session runs the same stretch of world-class grade 3-4 stacked whitewater rapids as the Ultimate Session, although it focuses on running straight through the rapids rather than stopping and playing on the river features.View Location
