Goshuin means a "red seal" is a seal given as a proof of visitation to a shrine or temple. The name of the shrine or temple, the name of the principal image, and the date of the visit are written in ink. You can make an eco-friendly upcycle goshuin book (stamp book) by reusing scraps generated in the kimono manufacturing process, used paper bags and wrapping paper as materials. A craft course which you can make your own original stamp book in Asakusa.
Goshuin book (stamp book) is used by visitors to Japanese temples and shrines to commemorate their visit.
You can make an eco-friendly upcycle stamp book by reusing scraps generated in the kimono manufacturing process, used paper bags and wrapping paper as materials.
Choose your favourite pattern from the materials and make your own favourite stamp book!
The staff will support you, so even beginners can enjoy creating.

●What is upcycling
It is to give new added value to things and disused items that would normally be discarded, upgrade them to new products, and give them a new life.
