About the Activity
You will be picked up from your hotel or the Port of Saranda with an air-conditioned vehicle. During the day you will visit Ksamil, The Blue Eye and Lekursi Castle. A beautiful visit to the natural spring of Blue Eye, a hidden place between the mountains where you can enjoy a magnificent view of transparent water. Even during summer the temperature of the water remains always 8-12 C. You can enjoy a nice coffee surrounded just by nature, the sound of the water and the feeling of being in a magical place. Lekursi Castle ( Kalaja e Lëkurësit) was built in the early 16th century by Sultan Suleymani and is located on the top of a hill in Lëkurës looking directly over Sarande. It’s located about 3-4km away from the center of Saranda. The castle was initially built to protect the city of Saranda from invaders accessing the coastline by boat.
