The *Ducks on the Docks* workshop offers a stress-free, creative experience in a peaceful waterfront setting. No experience is needed, as step-by-step guidance makes it beginner-friendly for all skill levels. All supplies, including a pre-sketched picture, are provided so you can focus on painting. You'll gain confidence in watercolor techniques while enjoying a relaxing activity. Perfect for individuals, couples, and families with kids ages 10 and up, this workshop is a great way to spend quality time together. Experience a unique and enjoyable hour of creating your own art in the heart of historic Annapolis. Ducks on the Docks is a beginner-friendly watercolor class where you’ll paint the charming local mallards that swim through Ego Alley, outdoors.
I’m Em Campbell, a local artist, and your guide on this art adventure with our friendly feathered friends! We’ll meet at Starbucks, and get to know one another on a short stroll down to the docks, where we’ll find the best spot to observe our birds. Whether you choose a bench or one of my camp chairs, settle in and get ready to create your masterpiece.
Ready? For art newbies, I’ll guide you through everything, and you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish. If you’re more experienced, feel free to use my instructions as a guide to inspire your unique creation.
You’ll use high-quality watercolors, a mess-free water pen, and premium watercolor paper with a pre-sketched drawing of our birds - so you can dive right into the best part - painting! This workshop is perfect for ages 10+.
