About the Activity

Natsu Matsuri (Summer Festivals) are fun summer events held all over Japan. Come and see how the local residents enjoy their festivals in Kichijoji, a popular residential and shopping town in the western suburbs of Tokyo, only about 15 minutes by train from Shinjuku or Shibuya. This is a 2-hour guided tour starting from Kichijoji Station to the festival venue. At the festival site, enjoy Ennichi fair and Bon-odori dancing! Festival 1 : July 24 and 25 the 51st Fureai Summer Festival Festival 2 : August 2 and 3 the 43rd Sun Road Gessoji Temple Summer Festival After visiting Ghibli Museum, take a look at the town of Kichijoji!
