Ready to experience the Sami culture? In this tour, we take you to a Sami family so you can see how they live and try different Sami activities like lasso-throwing. That's the way Sami people catch their reindeer. When you have caught the reindeer you also get allowed to feed them! Enjoy a light refreshment in a heated cabin. This excursion is suitable for both adults and children 6+. Our journey to Lavangsdalen takes approximately 30 minutes by bus each way. Once there, we will be greeted by a Sami family who will share fascinating insights into the history of the Sami people. You will even have the opportunity to feed reindeer and try your hand at throwing a lasso on reindeer antlers (if there will be a time), just like the Sami do when herding reindeer.
