About the Activity
The tour is an immersive and interactive experience that will take you from ancient mayan life to actual Cozumel daily life. You will learn about the region rituals and traditions in a recreated mayan village in the jungle, experience interactive workshops with alive characters to dive deeper into the culture and take a visit to the local market and amaze yourself with the variety of produce and local delicies (and try some if you want). Finally you will enjoy a delicious and fulfilling lunch experience in two different spots in the island where you will be able to prepare some of the dishes by yourself in our short hands-on workshops, enjoy delicious local food, have some fresh beverages and if you wish, have a beer or two at a local "cantina". With the help of alive characters, you will enjoy a spectacular show of Mayan dance, participate in Cacao chocolate and Tamal making demonstrations, taste natural chewing gum and maybe get instructed on how to play the traditional ball game.

Our third stop is a cozy restaurant famous for its fresh natural juices and delicious local dishes. Together we will prepare sikil pak (mayan hummus), have a tasting of different regional dishes and enjoy fresh drinks made with natural ingredients.

Our fourth and last stop will be at a popular "cantina" where you will prepare a very famous and traditional dish from Cozumel.
