Travel Itinerary

Embark on an unforgettable day of mountain adventure along the Nantlle Ridge, one of North Wales' most breathtaking and less-traveled ridges. Known for its rugged beauty, sweeping views, and exhilarating climbs, this guided hike offers a perfect balance of challenge and reward. The Experience: Our journey begins in the village of Rhyd Ddu, at the foot of Snowdon. From here, we ascend steadily, immersing ourselves in panoramic views of Llyn Nantlle Uchaf, Yr Wyddfa and the surrounding valleys. Once on the ridge, we tick off a series of peaks, including: Y Garn (633m): Our first summit, offering a spectacular view of the Nantlle Valley below. Mynydd Drws-y-Coed (695m): A narrow, scrambly section. Trum y Ddysgl (709m) Mynydd Tal-y-Mignedd (653m): Recognizable by its iconic obelisk. Garnedd Goch (700m): A summit with three castles in sight. Criccieth, Caernarfon and Harlech. Mynydd Graig Goch (610): Reclassified as a mountain is 2008 after an official survey found it to have been miss measured. The Nantlle Ridge walk is approximately 13km, best suited to adventurous hikers with a moderate level of fitness and a head for heights. View Location
