Keelperumpallam Kethu
Keelaperumpallam, India, 609105The last stop on the tour is the Temple of Ketu located in the town of Keelaperumpallam, a twenty minute drive away. The malefic influence of Ketu is feared by all as it is defined as ‘the taker’ in Hindu astrology.
All three temples were built during the reign of the Cholas between the 7th and 11th century A.D. and are reflective of the Dravidian style of architecture that is characterized by a 5-tiered central tower with ornate exteriors.
