The 16th century Hadimba Temple is surrounded by cedar forests. The beautiful setting of the temple is a major attraction. The temple is dedicated to Hadimba, the wife of Bheema, one of the five heroes of the Hindu epic Mahabharata. The wooden doors of the temple are intricately carved and depict the forms of the Earth Goddess, Durga. Vashisht Baths
Manali, India, 175135Vashisht Temple is dedicated to the Hindu Sage Vashishta. The water here is believed to have curative properties. Sage Vashishta was the guru (teacher) of the Hindu God Rama.
