On Red Canyon River Trips North Fork Whitewater Adventure you’ll raft through this beautiful 14 mile stretch of the Shoshone River hitting a rollercoaster of exciting rapids.Our North Fork begins by us driving up into the Shoshone National Forest where you’ll put in for an exciting and beautiful half day tour.Your CWA tour specialist will provide you with fun mountain man tales and the history of Buffalo Bill Cody and his Wild West town.While rafting down this stretch of the Shoshone River you’ll be seeing stunning views,maybe a variety of Wyoming’s wildlife species and even some cool fossils that are in the canyon walls.The North Fork of the Shoshone River is a free flowing that houses fun rapids such as“Wapiti Hole”and we can only raft during peak snow melt runoff season and is a fun and wild ride.Here at CWA safety comes first so on this crazy section of the river we have a minimum age limit of 10 years old and do not recommend this section for people with serious health conditions.

1119 12th Street, Wapiti, United States, 82414Red Canyon River Trips Northfork Whitewater Adventure begins from our office located at 1119 12th street Cody Wyoming(right next door to the Irma Hotel)You’ll begin your adventure at 9am from our shop and be driven up to the Shoshone National Forest.On this scenic drive your guides will be providing you with fun historical facts of Buffalo Bill Cody and the cool geology in our area.The North Fork not only boasts with stunning views but is also the home for many of Wyoming’s wildlife species.This half day whitewater adventure brings you to many scenic areas and even allows you to view a variety of fossils in the canyon walls.On this whitewater adventure we require a minimum age of 10years old to participate due to hitting larger rapids such “Wapiti Hole”.Wyoming’s North Fork of the Shoshone River is a free flowing river and only runs when we have peak runoff from snow melt.Due to our snow melt being very seasonal we can only raft this section for short window.4 hours • Admission Ticket FreeView Location
