About the Activity

Enjoy your port time in Skagway with a full-day shore excursion by mini-bus into the Yukon, Canada's westernmost territory. Explore some of North America's most stunning wilderness, and stop at Caribou Crossing for lunch. Lunch is BBQ chicken with sides of roasted potato, coleslaw, rolls, homemade donuts, tea/coffee (Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten free option of lentil curry is available as alternate). Included are a Wildlife Taxidermy museum with over 100 Yukon and Arctic species as well as recreations of Ice age animals. Historical Gold Rush and Canadian Mountie display also included. Onsite is a sled dog camp where you can see the huskies preparing for the Yukon Quest race. There is also a petting farm with animals to interact with and gift shop. Be prepared to stand in awe of natural beauty of southeast Alaska, British Columbia and Yukon Territory on this Skagway sightseeing tour. All passengers must bring a current valid passport (and/or USA/Canada Visa if required by your nationality)

  • Travelers CANNOT choose a custom pickup or meeting location.
  • Pick up Instructions: Bring all documents needed for border crossing-Passports (and USA/Canada Visas if required for your citizenship). No copies of documents accepted. Look for a representative holding a FRONTIER EXCURSIONS sign. Please be 15 minutes early. Please bring your passports. For Broadway and Ore dock, meet off the pier where the dock meets land just outside the security gate next to a large parking area. For the Railroad dock, there are two docking positions. For ships tendering to the small boat harbor, walk up the ramp after disembarking the tender and look to your left for Zone B meeting area. If you are taking a shuttle bus off the pier from your ship, once you get off the shuttle bus look to your right for Zone B. Zone B is near Skagway Fish Co.

No redemption point. This is a direct entry ticket• Must Bring Valid Original Passport on the tour (and USA and/or Canada Visa if needed for your citizenship). Full-Day Tour of the Yukon by mini-bus includes views of spectacular mountains, coastal rainforest, sub-alpine tundra and northern Boreal forest as you travel the Klondike highway into the Yukon. Historic landmarks include Moore Creek Bridge, 3292 foot White Pass Summit, Welcome to Alaska sign at US/Canada border, Tormented Valley, Tutshi (too-shy) Lake, Windy Arm of Tagish Lake, Welcome to the Yukon Sign, Bove Island overlook, Carcross village, Carcross “World’s Smallest" Desert and gorgeous green Emerald Lake. We will watch for wildlife along the route including bears. Klondike Gold Rush stories and history are narrated by your guide. For our lunch stop we go to Caribou Crossing for BBQ chicken with sides (vegetarian/vegan/gluten free option of lentil curry available) and have time to enjoy the taxidermy Museum of Yukon Natural History exhibits. The Husky Sled Dog camp is also on site and included is a chance to see the dogs and puppies (either Husky or rescue pups) and Petting Farm with friendly animals. Total tour duration approx. 6.5-7 hours, 140 miles roundtrip. (Tour duration can vary due to road construction, border wait times, and wildlife sightings)

Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellable up to 24 hours before the travel date (local supplier time) for a full refund. A 100% cancellation penalty applies for cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the start time.
